Reared in a high welfare, free roaming environment on Yorkshire grass pastures complemented by a natural cereal based diet grown on the Pollard family farm. Our Recommended Cooking Instructions:
Cut the string and open the main cavity.
1hr 50 – 2hrs10 at 175C in an open roasting tin.
Please ensure that the juices run clear.

    A good depth of chicken flavour. Delicious gravy from the juices, fluid, leeks and celery in the roasting pan. Plenty of meat for another dish after feeding 4 with mainly breast meat.

    The poulard was very large, tasty and lasted my family of 4 for a couple of meals (plus a very lovely chicken sandwich for me!). I always make my own chicken stock after our chicken roast dinners and I have to say, the stock I made from Yorkshire’s finest poulard carcass was the nicest tasting stock I’ve made to date. I can definitely recommend.
