R&J Yorkshire’s Finest goes Green-er!

Every day the news coverage talks of being more environmentally
conscious. Here at R&J we are doing exactly that behind the scenes: 

• We recycle 25-30 tonnes of cardboard per year
• We harvest rainwater
• Two heat reclaim systems fit to our existing refrigeration systems producing 65°C hot water
• Our courier parcels include reusable gel packs that are effective up to 5 more times
• More eco-friendly packaging methods are being introduced where-ever possible, such as recycled paper, card and biodegradable plastics

In the last year we have achieved:

• 20% less polythene used in the manufacturing of our vacuum pack bags
• 5% less vacuum pack bags overall
• 12% less polystyrene
